Days 1: USA or Canada > Tel Aviv, Israel

1 nights accomodation at Hotel in Tel Aviv

SUNDAY DAY 1 – Arrival in Israel

Welcome to Israel! Upon arrival to Ben Gurion airport, you will be met and assisted before passport control. Following passport control, you will be transferred to your hotel in beautiful Tel Aviv, situated on the Mediterranean Coast. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.


Days 2 - 4: Sea of Galilee, Israel

2 nights accomodation at Kibbutz Resort Hotel, Sea of Galilee

MONDAY DAY 2 – Caesarea /Megiddo/ Druze village/Haifa   

BREAKFAST. Depart Tel-Aviv and begin our 11-Day Holy Land Israel tour by driving along the coastal plain to Caesarea, once the Roman capital of the region; visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman theatre and aqueduct. Proceed to Muhraka, the site of confrontation between Elijah and the prophets of Baal; enjoy the spectacular view of the Jezreel valley and the lower Galilee . Continue to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon; learn the impressive history of this battle field as you visit the archaeological excavations including the well-preserved water supply system. Onto Acre to visit the remarkable underground Crusader City and crypt; walk through the Old City recognized by UNESCO as world heritage site , the local market and harbor.


TUESDAY DAY 3 – Tiberias / Western Galilee / Banias

BREAKFAST. After a short tour of Tiberias, enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee; visit the Yigal Alon center where the “Jesus boat”, an ancient fishing boat from the 1st century, is displayed. Continue to Capernaum to visit the remains of the 2nd century synagogue.  Stop at Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves, and visit the Church of Multiplication with its 4thcentury mosaic floor. Proceed to Mount of Beatitudes, the place where Jesus delivered the sermon on the mount. Drive to the Banias Springs and tour the Golan heights.


Days 4 - 8: Jerusalem, Israel

4 nights accomodations at a Jerusalem Hotel

WEDNESDAY DAY 4 – Cana / Nazareth / Beit Shean / Jerusalem

BREAKFAST. Drive to Cana to visit the Wedding Church, where Jesus performed his first miracle turning water into wine. Continue to Nazareth to visit the Church of Annunciation, Joseph’s workshop and Mary’s well. Proceed to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan river; next, stop at Beit Shean to visit the newly excavated Roman city and amphitheatre . Drive along the Jordan valley towards the ancient city of Jerusalem.


THURSDAY DAY 5 – Jerusalem (Old City)

BREAKFAST. Drive to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city; visit the Church of All Nations, King David’s Tomb and Room of Last Supper on Mt. Zion.  Enter the Old City ; walk through the Cardo, the ancient roman road; visit the Jewish and Christian quarters; view the Temple Mount; walk along the Via Dolorosa and the oriental Bazaar to visit the Church of Holy Sepulchre. Next, drive to the Garden Tomb and enjoy the beautiful gardens and peaceful ambiance.


FRIDAY DAY 6 – Jerusalem (New City) / Bethlehem*

BREAKFAST. Drive to Ein Karem to visit the Church of Visitation; proceed to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust. Visit Israel Museum, the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed, and the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the Second Temple period. Proceed to Bethlehem, birthplace of Jesus; visit Shepherds’ field; walk through Manger Square to visit the remarkable Church of Nativity. Return to Jerusalem. 


SATURDAY DAY 7 – Qumeran / Massada / Dead Sea

BREAKFAST. Drive through the Judean hills to Qumeran caves, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found; Continue along  the shores of the Dead Sea to Massada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D; ascend Massada by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod; visit the remains of the walls,  water cistern and Herod’s Palace; descend by cable car. Continue to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth; enjoy the opportunity to float in the unsinkable water and cover yourself with the mineral rich mud, believed to have therapeutic effects.


Days 8 - 10: Eilat with Optional Petra Tour

2 nights accomodation at Eilat Hotel

SUNDAY DAY 8 – Timna / Underwater Observatory / Eilat

BREAKFAST. Travel south through the Negev desert. Next a stop at Timna, a large geological and archaeological park; We will get a chance to view the outstanding Solomon’s pillars. Continue to Eilat, the southernmost resort city on the shores of the Red Sea. Moreover, explore the Underwater Observatory marine park that was built into a coral reef. Check-in to our hotel in Eilat


MONDAY DAY 9 – Leisure or Petra Extension

Breakfast. Enjoy the day at leisure. Petra Extension: Following breakfast, with assistance of a visa at the Jordanian border, drive straight to Petra, the astonishing rose-red city built by the Nabateans (An early Arab tribe). Petra was renowned for its massive architecture, pools, dams and water channels. Moreover, the city itself is almost 45 square km and is considered to be the second wonder of the world. Following the visit, time for lunch in a nice restaurant. After lunch drive back to border. Furthermore, a short visit to Aqaba with the possibility to stop and take a walk around. To conclude the day, transfer to the border at around 18:00 p.m and crossing back into Eilat, Israel.


Days 10 - 11: Mitzpe Ramon > Tel Aviv

1 night accomodation at Tel Aviv Hotel

TUESDAY DAY 10 – Mitzpe Ramon / Sde Boker / Hatzerim

BREAKFAST. Following breakfast, we will depart Eilat via Mitzpe Ramon and stop to gaze into a geological wonder, the Ramon crater. Proceed to Sde Boker and see Ben Gurion’s hut and grave overlooking the magnificent Zin valley. Stop for a camel ride and a visit to an authentic Bedouin tent. Furthermore, learn about the Bedouin hospitality and enjoy a light lunch. To conclude the days touring,  continue to Hatzerim and visit Israel’s Airforce Museum. Arrive in Tel Aviv for our last night in Israel.


WEDNESDAY DAY 11 – End of 11 Day Holy Land Israel Tour 

EARLY BREAKFAST. To conclude, we will transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure back home with lifelong memories.
