Days 1 - 3: USA or Canada > Tel Aviv, Israel

FRIDAY DAY 1 – Arrival in Israel/13 Day Classic Israel Tour

Welcome to Israel! Upon arrival to Ben Gurion airport, you will be met and assisted before passport control. Following passport control, you will be transferred to your hotel in beautiful Tel Aviv, situated on the Mediterranean Coast. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure before we embark on our 13 Day Interfaith Classic Israel Tour.


SATURDAY DAY 2 – Tel Aviv at Leisure

Following Shabbat breakfast, we will enjoy a day at leisure.


Days 3 - 5: Sea of Galilee, Israel

2 nights acconmodation at Kibbutz Resort Hotel, Sea of Galilee

SUNDAY DAY 3 – Caesarea /Megiddo/ Druze village/Haifa

BREAKFAST. Following breakfast, we will journey along the coastal plain to Caesarea, once the Roman capital of the region. See the excavations of the Crusaders city and the Roman port, aqueduct and amphitheater recently restored. Proceed to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon; visit the archaeological excavations.

Furthermore, continue to Daliat-el-Carmel, a Druze village and enjoy a late lunch at a local restaurant. To conclude, proceed via Mount Carmel to Haifa for a panoramic view of the Haifa bay and the golden domed Bahai gardens.


MONDAY DAY 4 – Safed /Golan Heights/Winery

BREAKFAST. Following breakfast, a scenic drive to Safed, the center of Jewish mysticism; Visit the ancient synagogues and the artists’ colony. Continue to the Golan Heights to see the former Syrian bunkers, Kuneitra and the new Israeli town of Katzrin. Moreover, stop at the Golan Winery for a tour and wine tasting. To conclude the day, proceed to “Golan Magic” for a multimedia presentation of the area and its history.


Days 5- 10: Jerusalem, Israel

TUESDAY DAY 5 – Sea of Galilee / Nazareth

BREAKFAST. Following breakfast, we begin the day with a visit to Nazareth to visit the Church of Annunciation. Furthermore, continue to Tiberias; Visit Capernaum to see the ruins of the synagogue and octagonal Church of St. Peter. In addition, visit Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the sermon on the mount. To conclude the day, drive via Beit Shean to Beit Alpha to see the remains of the mosaic floor of an ancient synagogue.


WEDNESDAY DAY 6 – Jerusalem (Old City)/Bethlehem

BREAKFAST. Following breakfast, start the day with a magnificent panoramic view from Mount of Olives. Proceeding to the Old City. Visit the Tomb of King David and the Room of Last Supper on Mt. Zion. Furthermore, enter the walled city and walk through the newly restored Jewish quarter. Visit the Roman Cardo, the Herodian quarter and continue to the Western Wall. Moreover, walk along the Via Delarosa to the Church of Holy Sepulchre. To conclude, continue to Bethlehem to view Rachel’s tomb and proceed to the Church of Nativity and Manger’s Square.


THURSDAY DAY 7 – Jerusalem (New City)

BREAKFAST. Following breakfast, enter the Old City through the Dung Gate and walk towards the Kotel and witness a Bar Miztvah ceremony. Depart the Old City and drive to Mea Shearim. Learn about the unique lifestyle of the Ultra orthodox communities. Proceed to drive to Mount Herzl, Israel’s national cemetery. We will visit the grave-sites of Israel’s greatest leaders and heroes.

Moving on, continue to Yad Vashem. Considered to be the first memorial to mankind’s darkest period. We will visit the very moving exhibit at the Children’s Pavilion. Furthermore, continue to Ammunition Hill (Givat-Hatahmoshet). This is a former Jordanian army stronghold conquered by the Israeli army in the Six Day War. We will also drive by the Knesset, to see Israel’s parliament and the Menorah with the biblical emblems.

To conclude, proceed to Israel Museum to see the scale model. The museum recreates Jerusalem in 66 CE. In the same complex, visit the Shrine of the Book where the original Dead Sea scrolls are housed.


FRIDAY DAY 8 – Qumeran / Massada / Dead Sea

BREAKFAST. Drive through the Judean hills to Qumeran caves, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found; Continue along  the shores of the Dead Sea to Massada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D; ascend Massada by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod; visit the remains of the walls,  water cistern and Herod’s Palace; descend by cable car.

Continue to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth; enjoy the opportunity to float in the unsinkable water and cover yourself with the mineral rich mud, believed to have therapeutic effects.


SATURDAY DAY 9 – Jerusalem at Leisure

BREAKFAST. Following Shabbat breakfast, enjoy a day at leisure in Jerusalem


Days 10 - 12: Eilat, Israel - Optional Petra Tour

SUNDAY DAY 10 – Timna / Underwater Observatory / Eilat

BREAKFAST. Travel south through the Negev desert. Next a stop at Timna, a large geological and archaeological park; We will get a chance to view the outstanding Solomon’s pillars. Continue to Eilat, the southernmost resort city on the shores of the Red Sea. Moreover, explore the Underwater Observatory marine park that was built into a coral reef. Check-in to our hotel in Eilat


MONDAY DAY 11 – Leisure or Petra Extension

Breakfast. Enjoy the day at leisure.
Petra Extension: Following breakfast, with assistance of a visa at the Jordanian border, drive straight to Petra, the astonishing rose-red city built by the Nabateans (An early Arab tribe). Petra was renowned for its massive architecture, pools, dams and water channels. Moreover, the city itself is almost 45 square km and is considered to be the second wonder of the world. Following the visit, time for lunch in a nice restaurant. After lunch drive back to border. Furthermore, a short visit to Aqaba with the possibility to stop and take a walk around. To conclude the day, transfer to the border at around 18:00 p.m and crossing back into Eilat, Israel.


Days 12 - 13: Mitzpe Ramon > Tel Aviv

TUESDAY DAY 12 – Mitzpe Ramon / Sde Boker / Hatzerim

BREAKFAST. Following breakfast, we will depart Eilat via Mitzpe Ramon and stop to gaze into a geological wonder, the Ramon crater. Proceed to Sde Boker and see Ben Gurion’s hut and grave overlooking the magnificent Zin valley. Stop for a camel ride and a visit to an authentic Bedouin tent. Furthermore, learn about the Bedouin hospitality and enjoy a light lunch. To conclude the days touring,  continue to Hatzerim and visit Israel’s Airforce Museum. Arrive in Tel Aviv for our last night in Israel.


WEDNESDAY DAY 13 – End of the 13 Day Jewish Israel Tour 

EARLY BREAKFAST. To conclude, we will transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure back home with lifelong memories of Israel and the 13 day Classic Israel tour.
